If you experience pain after MELTing it may be a signal from your body that less pressure needs to be applied when using the MELT balls and/or roller. What we recommend doing is starting your practice slowly, doing only 10 minutes a day, applying pressure with the balls gradually, and using only the Soft Large Ball.
Make sure you're drinking plenty of water as well. Rehydrating the connective tissue takes time and your body may be adapting to the new techniques.
You may also want to consider working with a MELT instructor in your area using our Instructor Finder: https://meltmethod.com/apps/store-locator.
